St. Andrew's After School
FURTHER PROGRAM INFORMATION

Where: St. Andrew's Episcopal Church parish hall, 169 Belleville Rd., New Bedford

When: every Wednesday that school meets, 3:30pm-5:30pm  (pick-up time 5:20-5:30)

What: homework help and organization, outdoor knowledge and skills

Who: Jeffrey Michals-Brown, program leader, 508-580-9855

 1. There will be no adult supervision outside the hours listed, so do not drop off your child early. 

2. If you child in unable to attend on a particular day, please call (508-580-9855). 

3. If your child decides to drop the program, please call 508-580-9855 and let me know, so other children can be given the chance.

 4. The program will not meet on any Wednesday there is no school (e.g. vacation, snow days). 

 5. I will be constructing a web page to help keep you up-to-date.  Check out http://standrewsafterschool.blogspot.com/   It should be up and running a few days into December.

 6. Dates of several local (in and around NB) Saturday field trips to follow later.  Field trips are optional, but will give your child opportunity to practice what he/she learns; parent/guardian provides transport.

At this point, I am thinking to do a forest trip, a shore trip and perhaps a marsh trip.  Probably one in fall, two in spring.  You will have notice of any future trips through handouts given out at the Wednesday meetings, and postings on the blog.

Field trips will be rain or shine (within reason), and I will wait at the appointed site until a few minutes after the official start time.  Then we will go with whoever shows up.  Please feel free to come yourself!  Nature is for everyone--not just children.
